Welcome!
The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) is an international aviation organization of aviation enthusiasts of which Chapter 1398 is a proud part. EAA members enjoy a variety of airplanes, including "experimental" aircraft, which are those built by individuals rather than a factory.
The EAA, headquartered in Oshkosh, Wisc., has more than 170,000 members worldwide with local chapters in all 50 states. Members come from all age groups and walks of life, including commercial pilots, engineers and business persons. The EAA sponsors several aviation education programs, including the Young Eagles, designed to foster young people's interest in flying.
